ABOUT
Richard Currie is a Film Editor based in Los Angeles, California. He has over 30 years experience working within the film industry and more than 10 years experience as a Film Editor.
TV SHOWS
More than 70 Film Editor credits on major network television shows. All with scheduled air dates and fixed budgets, requiring me to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
FEATURE FILMS
With over 20 feature film credits, my experience in feature films has taught me the value of attention to detail and the organizational skills needed in high pressure situations.
INDEPENDENT FILMS
I started my film career in Los Angeles by working on documentaries, I then moved to scripted short films, low budget full-length projects and eventually feature films.
DEMO REELS
I consider myself to be first and foremost a storyteller, evaluating performances and pacing scenes to build the emotions that will give the viewer the best experience. I love to craft a scene that is both visually and sonically stimulating as well as emotionally compelling.
